Pane Carasau Culinary Workshop

The thin, crispy sheet of carasau bread

Carasau bread is a typical Sardinian bread, characterized by its thin and crispy shape (you have certainly happened to taste it during your vacation in Sardinia).

Maybe you have been served it along with bread at a restaurant or as an appetizer with oil and salt.

Have you ever wondered how it gets so thin and crispy?

Its preparation is very special: the dough is rolled out into very thin sheets, which are then baked in a wood-fired oven. During baking, the bread swells to resemble a balloon and then the two parts separate into two thin layers and then it is baked again in the oven.

This process makes carasau bread very crispy and light.

With our workshop you can watch the preparation of the dough and baking in a wood-fired oven, it will be a unique experience that you can only have with us.

Reserve your place for this special experience!
